The Treasurer’s Office is charged with the responsibility of accurately posting charges and payments to student accounts, as well as regular account notification and the collection of amounts due. The Treasurer’s Office staff strives to assist students in understanding their accounts and identifying issues that may need to be addressed. We are always happy to answer any questions you have!!
Please note that The Office Financial Aid will assist you in determining avenues for additional support to fund your educational expenses, such as, scholarships, grants, and loans.

E-CONFIRM
All students, undergraduate and graduate, are required to complete confirmation of enrollment for the semesters in which they enrolled. If confirmation of enrollment is not completed by the deadline posted below, all courses will be dropped whether or not the semester bill is paid in full. If courses are dropped because you failed to confirm, you must re-enroll in courses and confirm your enrollment within 24 hours.
Students who re-register (or who register for the first time after the first day of classes), need to confirm their enrollment by the deadline or courses will be dropped on the second day of classes whether or not the semester bill is paid in full.
Financial aid recipients must confirm enrollment for funds to be applied to your student account balance or generate a refund, if eligible.
Confirming your enrollment acknowledges that you have been presented with and reviewed financial aid, billing and refund policies as required by federal and state agencies, and Carson-Newman University.
STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1: Check your MyCN account for any active holds prior to registration confirmation.
STEP 2: Make any changes to your schedule before confirming.
STEP 3: Pay you account balance less financial assistance and any confirmable third party payments. Billing is online a few weeks prior to each semester. You can pay online on MyCN (if you have already eConsented), by mail, or by calling 865-471-3209 and paying by credit or debit card. * If you are a first time (student loan) borrower at Carson-Newman, you must complete the online entrance counseling and sign the master promissory note at www.studentloans.gov before you can confirm your registration.
